When i was in consulting, which is a very billable hour's kind of environment, ray it was very overwhelming the number of tasks that you had to do. But there are other things that don't require so much overt acknowledging of what you're doing. Every job has pockets where these little things matter less In consulting, we would have big grt, big group meetings and send agendas ahead of time with notes afterwards. We had better meetings when the agendas were good and they got them done on time. Nobody ever opened the documents that came after every single person, not a single person,. And so i started writing those as b minus work - writing down three bullet points for each
