Why People Don't Understand Quantum Theory
We've evolved with a brain which has the capacity to explain everything. There isn't some limit set by evolution of that kind of understanding. Your intuitions can change with what you learn about reality. I have no doubt that in generations from now, people will regard quantum theory in roughly the same way as we regard newton's theories. The string theory that edward whitmon understands could be understood by any one else, if they took an interest. But they tend not to take an interest in these things.
