Gordon Cummins - The Blackout Ripper

Gordon cummins was found guilty of the murders of maple church and edith humphreys. His family believed in his innocence and wrote to the home secretary claiming it was a miscarriage of justice. Despite intensive investigations, both cases remained unsolved. Given their similarities to the blackout ripper's known crimes, many have theorized that maple and edith might have been his first victims. To this day, scotland yard strongly believes gordon cummins was responsible for these crimes. The man himself would never lay claim to any of the murders he was accused of,. maintaining his innocence up until june 19 forty two when he was led to the hangman's noose.
