The Crisis in the Humanities Um
The humanities strip out much of what it actually has meant to be human in order to tell their histories. and reason and law and rights um and kind of struggle and survival in a purely material world, he says. He argues that the divine as well as all sorts of other non-human entities are part of the ecology in which we live. And taking note of this is just as important as taking notes of what it is to be purely human in the modern sense according to him.
