People think that strength development and muscular development is the same thing. There are many, many differences but also a lot of similarities. A bigger muscle has more potential to produce more force; just because it's bigger does not mean it actually does produce more force. Without getting stronger in your skill set, you won't be able to get better at anything even if you're doing snatches or deadlifts on ice.
