"It's one of the greatest stories. I wrote a pilot three or four years ago based on the article by Stephen Leckhart that it didn't get me into a show," he says. "The snarkiness was and like the in crowdness was so gross... Clickiness was terrible. And that's why I really was happy to leave when I did."
