The Singularity of the Black Hole

The event horizon is a region of space where after infinite time, particles that enter will never leave. The size of that event horizon depends on the parameters of the black hole. It's really one of the deepest questions in physics because we don't know what would be there. We have a prediction from general relativity but most physicists view that as an indication that the theory is failing.
