Resonance Is Not Obedience

If you claim to be a follower of jesus, your life should be different and distinct from those who do not. There should be a discipleship distinction that shows up in how we practise our faith. And that's what paul is getting at in this passage. Its such an important verse. You see, one of the challenges of our age isa we think that because we resonate with something, we've done something. But resonence is always for the point of obedience. We need to embody the drama that we are a part of. In kingdam ethodu ays this, we speak of embodied drama, and not simply of narrative.
