Is There a Risk of Vendor Locking?
There is no standardization as far as the stream of right ones running anywhere sort of semantics where you write an implementation and then deploy to any cloud. So for example, Lambda code is just code. There's not really much vendor lock into the actual code that you're running on Lambda. However, if you are using Lambda as part of a bigger architecture that's involving step functions and a VEMbridge and API gateway it can help you produce an architecture extremely fast. But if you need to suddenly move that somewhere else, you can't.
