The Long Term Effects of the RSN Distributor Model in MLB

The collapse of the RSN model exacerbates the revenue gaps that currently exist and gaps in local revenue have been a sore point for a long time. MLB has created a system to share that money among its teams not equally but in a fashion that mitigates the gap in potential revenue among markets. I'm not sure how much more you can recently ask the Dodgers or Yankees or Cubs to transfer to the Marlins and Brewers and Royals. That's why I think a war is coming. The teams affected by this are going to expect the others to help or perhaps more to the point adhere to the revenue sharing formula in the CBA. It could be no blackouts where teams agree on a deal
