Isaiah Berlin's Political Opposition

Isaiah berlin would want us to transition this entire line of thinking over into the political realm. How often do people engaging in a political discussion look at their political opposition, and then act tolerant of that disagreement? They see them as an intelligible, rational human being that just has a different set of values cause they come from a different setof experiences. When it comes to political issues, there are innocent people potentially getting hurt in the balance. None of this is to say that we should all be holding hands, singing camp fire songs together all day. There's more to life than spending my life cooped up inside, feeling safe just because i happen to still be alive. I
