The Wake Diverges From the Left
The idea that you're only really going to deeply connect with somebody from your tribe is a nassima to what it's always meant to be on the left. Foucault, like Schmidt, who don't recognize a real distinction between justice and power. And the third way in which I think that the woke diverges from the left is it's despair, really, or cynicism about the possibility of making progress.
