Is Hegel a Hegelian? Or a Postmodernist?
People often interpret Jiezek as a kind of postmodern thinker. And that doesn't really seem correct in the same way as Lacan, almost. He early on thought he was Hegelian and then later thought he was breaking. I think Slavoid and Melod were the first to see that for sure. There's a, oh no, I was just going to say that in the text that you mentioned earlier, the sublime object of ideology,. there's a great chapter called, Which Subject of the Real where it seems that that Slavoid's main focus is distinguishing Lacan from the postmodern or structuralist, poststructuralist take.
