The Farmer's Guide to Testing and Replacing
The book tells the story of a farmer who wanted to replenish his soil. He learned about what is called testing and replacing, where you take samples in each one of the fields that you're planning to grow your vegetables in. The tests tell him if he has too much of a mineral or too little of a mineral; it also tells how much to replace it. "I used my john deer cone spreader and ended up putting thousands of pounds of minerals all on my 12 acres"
