Are Stop Signs Yield Signs?
A big one is just this general sort of attitude that you have to go to school to learn something. I think the thing that I love about drawing from a live model and running a half marathon and from planar painting is it's just kind of a relationship between you and life. It's not like you're learning from a teacher that's like, hey, this is how you do something. And so I kind of am often reminded of that. Like, what, any time I figure drawing, it's just me and what my brain thinks the thing in front of me.
