The History of Grenada in the 16th Century
Grenada in the 16th century was trying to recreate itself as sort of new Rome or New Jerusalem. The Christians were writing all these fake versions of history, they had always been a feeling that the Christians wanted to link their history back to Visigothic times of Spain. And so I just chimed very much with an extraordinary event in the16th century Grenada which was discovery of a series of archaeological artifacts on the Sacramento mountain. They contained led discs containing religious text that purported to be Christian and Grenada was delighted about this because it expressed the idea that the first Bishop of Grenada had been a Christian back in the first century.
