Alexis Ocasio-Cortez claimed that she just saved New York City $3 billion. But out here in the real world, that's quite a few turns out those jobs were going to be pretty high paying jobs. And everybody got a little concerned that that was going to have a strange effect on the local housing market. It would gentrify it. The other half of the time Amazon pays too much. In fact, one of the cities they were looking at was Pittsburgh and you and I argued that giving special breaks to Amazon to bring them in would actually be a bad idea.
