The US Banned TikTok on Federal Government Devices
The US banned TikTok on federal government devices last month. A bill went through a committee that would give President Joe Biden the authority to ban it. ByteDance, which is the company that owns TikTok, has 100 million users in the US alone. There's also concerns that it could manipulate users by pushing propaganda.
