When you can imagine what feels like an impossible goal, but if it feels a little kind of achievable and you can add in what could go wrong, the studies show that you're much more likely to end up achieving it. You have all these emotional synapses and triggers that are guiding you throughout the way. My big question as a product leader was always, what's the story? We build not like a marketing story, but shouldn't there be a story that customers think and experience when they're using our products? And so the idea of giving yourself an A is just you're coming up with a story and making it the best possible one.
