How to Navigate Uncertainty With Patients

In one study, we didn't really define uncertainty. We asked them to walk us through scenarios where either they felt uncertain or their patients seemed to be uncertain about something. And it was actually quite interesting to not define uncertainty because clearly their perceptions of uncertainty varied. So I highly recommend research just to keep things broad every now and then and not go to the field with a particular definition.
