The Role of Salicylic Acid in Plants
Salicylic acid in plants is fascinating because it has sort of multi purposes. It does get involved in defense, but not in the context of what we've talked about in the past with keeping herbivores at bay. The overlaps here kind of gave me goosebumps because we often treat them. But this was a really interesting dive and it made my job so much cooler this time around than to just say, yeah, they just don't want to get eaten.
