What Lewis Means by the Word of God

Lewis sees sin as trying to name what is actually wrong with the world. Christianity offers a diagnosis of the human situation and it uses the word sin to refer to this. Lewis will not equate sin with badness or with evil. It's more complex than that. One of the reasons people tend to shy away from the idea of sin is very often we focus on only one of its aspects but basically for Lewis once we realize that sin is the problem we begin to realize a solution lies in redemption which is something God does for us.
