The Activity of the Holy Spirit

In Galatians 5, 13 we read it through the end of the chapter. We read one's God has called us to live a life of freedom in the Holy Spirit. As you yield freely and fully to the dynamic life and power of the Holy Spirit you will abandon the cravings of your old self-life. You are not going to get to the next thing by despising the current thing. So how do you do that? Well you go to verse 24 and find out there is no more self-Life. Resist it or believe it died.
