When he first started writing books, it would take him about two years to write a blue like jazz. These days, it takes me about eight months to write a book. Much of that, I'm just going to be brutally honest with you in the blue like jazz days. That's because I didn't know what I was doing. And these days, I don't do that at all. The reason I tell you this is because if you sit down towrite a book without the grid or a grid, there are a million of them.
