Most of it came from united states when i was growing up, at least most of what i was exposed to also from the u k. Because nigeria is a formal colony, a formar british colony, so there was a lot of influence from the uk. And the us. Those were the predominant, sort of, you know, western forces at play. Also, we were impacted by our neighboring countries in west africa, like senegal and gana and ivory coast. And we also drew on things from south africa as well.
