Is It OK to Have Multiple Frameworks in Biology?
Inclusive fitness and group selection kind of when I really started thinking about this, you know, 10 to 15 years ago, there was a lot of things written about the equivalents. And that seemed to really take some air out of debate and move it to other aspects. You know, it raises an interesting issue that we have this multiple frameworks that for certain issues, they overlap nicely and other times they do not. At the same time, I can sometimes worry that we not spend more time trying to integrate various ways of approaching evolution.
