Big Data Is Not Going to Get You That
There's very little scientific evidence that polygraph tests are, in fact, measures of veracity or or deception. They're stress detectors. And their validity, if validity it was, were only good at a static point in time. It wasn't like an inoculation against betray nor a flue shot against treason. The best polygraph operators are extremely keen observers of human nature and are basically psychologists. Human intelligence operations are what gets you the results we need.
