The Strange and the Eerie

The eerie is the presence of something where it should not be. It's a question about agency, about why certain things fail to either be there or not be there. The capital is quite an eerie entity because as Mark says in his post-capitalist as I elect, the entirety of capitalism's system is not given to you. When you have an eerie experience of what capitalism is, you think, my God, what could have done this? Why is this thing not showing up in immediacy? What is preventing this system for showing itself bad to me at this moment?
