Rise in Anti-Asian Violence

This chapter examines the disturbing increase in anti-Asian violence in the U.S., highlighting over 2,800 reported incidents linked to the COVID-19 pandemic. It features personal stories from victims and discusses community responses aimed at fostering safety and solidarity, as well as legislative efforts to combat hate crimes. Additionally, the chapter emphasizes the need for a collective approach to address systemic issues affecting all communities of color.
