Is Russia Backing Into a Corner?

The West and NATO are supporting the Ukrainian people, but it obviously has to be a national context. We can't go fly off the handle each time that there is an incident or the war spills over in unfortunate ways. The thing that concerns me most is that we got into a psychology where wars are very long. As we sign up again, it's not even 20 year periods. It's a bit of a throwback when I've been there to cover the war. You're running down into bomb shelters. It feels like a 20th century war. And it's a war that needs to be resolved really in the next year or two.
