The Shadow of Gay Poetry

Aaron: "I had like crushes on men the way kids do like an affinity, this little thrill" He says his mother told him he was not gay and tried to brainwash him. Aaron's mom suffered from undiagnosed mental health issues as a result of her hysterectomy. His poetry is about growing up during the AIDS pandemic in the 1990s.
