Open hardware is a clearing house for these kind of clever ideas. This week, we look at the Raspberry pie base camera that takes time laps photos and turns lights on and off. The idea is to make a system that's standardized so biologists who aren't necessarily programmers coters and hackers can just put this thing together and then use it for their work.
