Bunkie Knudson and the American Auto Industry

Liya Koka was one of the few people in Detroit at the time who realized that the American auto industry's lunch was being eaten in the subcompact market. Liya said we need to get a car to market, but I'm not the president. Bunkie Knudson was in charge. And so they settled things in the traditional way in the car industry: arm wrestling.
