Confucian Ethics - Harmonization
The basic principle of our moral duties, depending upon our place in society to create harmo is not such a whacky idea at all. A son has a duty to remonstrate with his father if he sees him doing wrong. Confucius himself was an adviser to a lot of rulers and would you know, tell them as nicely as possible where he thought they were going wrong. So it should not be about am simply being obedient, doing your thing and being quiet.
