The Psychology of Myth
I was primarily and originally interested in mythology and comparative mythology. When i was a student in germany, i discovered the writings of yung. And for me, they helped me to understand the psychological ground of the myths. I think he's gone further than anyone he would him self not have said that he had completely explained mythology or completely interpreted mythology. Each myth must be interpreted in its own right, as saying something different from the other one, but as using the same language. By participating in a ritual, you are opening your f to the mythic dimension of experience.
