The Silent Screen

It's got to be Johnny Cash hurt on repeat, right? Some of it was Henderechke music with these really sort of harrowing strings. There's a piece he wrote about Hiroshima that is terrible to listen to. It's beautiful, but it's terrifying. You turn that up loud enough in your headphones and there's a silent screen that is immediately produced in you. A silent screen. The funny thing is I don't even really see it as myself. And the greatest joy for me is to disappear into these things.
