The Sliding Doors Moment in 2014

The President Obama was a deeply confused man about international politics. He tended to, you know, and at the same time, he really fatally underestimated the importance of things like security. His failure to respond to honor his own red line in Syria when Assad was using chemical weapons more or less killed any real hope of nonproliferation. It's possible that future historians will put Barack Obama's name on the death certificate as the man whose fatal misjudgments in foreign policy convinced everybody in the world that only a blithering idiot would choose international law over U.S. promises.
