Is There a Positive Externality to Immigration?
The Shiv Sena came to prominence by arguing against migrants from other parts of the country, first South Indians and then Bihari's. And their argument is that local jobs at the bottom of the chain have been taken away by immigrants who are willing to do it for cheaper. So what you're saying is certainly true of high skilled immigrants, but, you know, opponents of immigration are not just at an international level.
