The Cuban Anti-Fascist Movement's Relationship to the Spanish Civil War

A lot of this anti-fascist sentiment and its relations to what's happening in Spain is also just part of a movement to lead to some kind of Cuban revolution. So the way that I encapsulate the very many different goals that various Cuban anti-fascists had is this idea of a new Cuba. But they have to find some sort of unity in their movement in Cuba and in their movement overseas, right? They have to come together with some solidarity and some unity. And so there's a lot of attempts to build solidarity, to build unity, and the concept of anew Cuba does a lot of that work.
