Ezra pand was saying, let's remake the new he wasn't sayng everything from before. What do we do in this ruined world that we find ourselves in? Do we make things out of these fragments and bits and pieces? T s eliot's the wasteland might be a good example of or do we clear it all away and build something new? And there, i think, is both the light on the dark side of modernity and swet. If you look at america and look at what happened among the black population, it was the first time that many had actually taken their suit cases, taken their bags and moved into urban space.
