How to Be Funny at the Start of a Gig

I'm trying to get more controlled now because I used to die he used to die more frequently and sometimes when I was younger I can't believe this but like I would be doing ten minutes on the boat or something and they'd say oh there's this important people and I'd do whatever stuff I'd come up with that weekend. So I'm a bit more controlling now but that's quite a good place to do it at the top of a set though because that kind of draws on your kind of comparing gears.
