In 1989, when she tuned 19, that money and she thinks it was about $1,000 was released to her. She decided she would use the money to pay her board at home for a year, and also for a one year full time secretarial in business studies course with Polytech. After 18 months of working at the supermarket, that's what she did. But looking back now, she is proud of herself for finding a job during this tough economic time.
