The Future of Nanotechnology

Christy: My group is part of a large National Science Foundation funded research center known as the Center for Sustainable Nanotechnology. One type of material that we're really focused on are the nanoparticles that will make up the majority of the next generation lithium ion batteries for electric vehicles. So I know this field of nanotoxicology is relatively new in the scheme of scientific fields. But it's something that I'm excited about Absolutely.
