End of Life Care - What's the Right Thing to Do?
Doctors tend to choose less treatment for themselves than they do for their patients. This isn't just in cancer, it's across the board. We put vast amounts more research into chemotherapists and radiotherapy instead of palliative care support. I talk about the fabulous story of Wilco Johnson who was diagnosed with terminal cancer but chose not to have radiotherapy or chemotherapy because he wanted to go on tour. He is now doing really well.
