Professor Riley: There are two issues with saying that the overall number of black out of wedlock births and non-nuclear homes is more important than racial disparities. The argument about whites not having offered african's free passage to america can't be used to say that black people are better off from slavery because it's unrealistic fundamentally fails, he says. Professor Riley: I think my opponents making some intelligent specific points i think the the thrust of the essay survives pretty well because they're responsive to those points.
