Elizabeth began luring in noble girls whose families were having financial difficulties. She also had this finishing school type thing where she was said to be teaching the girls. When authorities would ask about the noble girls, Elizabeth would claim that they committed suicide or that they died from a contagious illness. Pescue Welligan even claimed that one of the noble girls had killed all the others in a jealous rage.
