The Difficulty of Raising Capital at Seed Stage
The conventional wisdom is it's almost easier if you're a early stage or a later stage. The gap you see, Ben, is there sort of series B and series C companies where they've burned through a fair amount of their cash. So we do what are called inside rounds, sometimes a bridge round with a safe or a convertible note to extend the company's runway in hopes that later in 2023 or 2024, the market gets better for raising capital.
