The structure of a joke, which can be written as banter, essentially is like a one to punch. One tried to avoid just jokes in the book because people's definition of comedy varies wildly. But i will say that, m what made it easier to write some of the more cometic scenes is about the situation in which they are in. It's not just the dialogue. Some people do for like, punch jab jab jab jab, punch. You can't have to forget the timing there.
