When it comes to your agents or editors you've worked with, have you got advice for emerging writers in terms of knowing when a relationship is working? I always say trust your gut. The most important thing in an agent is somebody who's passionate about your work. Then if you can have somebody who's not only passionate about your Work but also has the chops to be able to get through to be editors because there are so many agents now,.
