Is There a Place for Fat and Ugly and Mad in Children's Books?
Rural Darl's back catalogue has been in the news because of controversy around harmful words. New versions with those words taken out but you'll still be able to buy classic ones with some of the words still in. I just want to know what your hunches on words like fat and ugly and mad. Should they have a place in children's books in 2023? Do you know there's a lot of excitement goes on about adapting and changing things any Blighton’s were adapted or changed by other publishers, such as Simon & Schuster for example.
